A team of
initiative-takers

As you've probably noticed, we're an ambitious bunch!

But despite our growth, we're committed to maintaining a culture driven by friendship, built on a foundation of shared passions and understanding. Everyone mucks in, adventures outside their comfort zone, and thrives on trying new things.

We're always
improving

Improvement is the essence of what we do. We dedicate our time to help our members be the best skiers they can be, every season.

And we bring this energy to our team - supporting each other as we learn, upskill, and progress.

We're growing and fast

In 2015 Carv was little more than 2 founders, a prototype, and a dream. We've come a long way since then, growing to a team of 10 by 2019, and we now have over 50 full-time carvers. But we're only just getting started...
  • Carv, Kickstarted

In 2016, Carv broke records to become the most funded sports wearable on Kickstarter.

  • 1 MILLION TURNS

By 2018, thousands of skiers around the world had collectively recorded over 1M turns with Carv.

  • 10,000 carvers

In 2021 we welcomed our 10,000th Carv skier and celebrated another sell-out season.

  • AWARD-WINNING

In 2021, we were humbled to receive our first major award, a Queen's Award for Enterprise.

  • Membership launches

In 2021, we launched membership and invested in developing our coaching every season.

  • 100 million turns

By 2022 a community of over 20,000 Carv members had recorded a whopping 100M turns.

  • Olympic-Level Coaching

In 2022 we partnered with Ted Ligety, 5-time world champion to bring the advice of the world's best to our members

Customer Success Intern

Oscar

I came across Carv whilst looking for internships after graduation. I wanted to gain insight into a wide range of departments in a small business, preferably within the sports industry.

The cross-rotational aspect of Carv's seasonal internship, paired with the opportunity to ski in Austria for part of the season, proved a great fit.

I spent 3 months with the team in our Innsbruck office, where I skied at some of Austria's best resorts. Carv quickly let me take on responsibility, helping me develop a diverse skillset through 4 monthly rotations within the operations team.”

Community Manager

Amelia

When searching for a new role, I knew I wanted to combine the opportunity to travel with exciting high growth potential.

I stumbled across Carv on Instagram, and thought it offered the perfect combination of the two.

There is no such thing as a typical day at Carv, which is why I love it. From hyping up skiers in Aspen to become Carv fanatics, to ideating marketing campaigns from our London office, to producing content with PSIA instructors in Montana!

Every day is different, with new challenges and a lot to learn.”
