Carv Membership Terms

You will select your membership as part of your Carv purchase. Each membership period will be based on the period chosen (e.g., 1-year or 2-year). Regardless of your billing cycle, you are responsible for the membership fees for the entire membership period chosen.

The fees for your membership are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except on first purchase of Carv when you are bound by the Returns Policy.

If you buy from our website, on first purchase of Carv, your membership will be available immediately, but the selected time period (e.g. 1-year or 2-year) will not start until your unit is delivered. Please note the renewal date in our systems will not update until your unit has been fulfilled.

At the end of your membership period, your plan will automatically renew for a membership period equal to your prior membership period unless you cancel your membership.

Payments are made in advance for each membership period and can be made using most major credit card providers. When you purchase a membership, you agree that Carv, using its payment processor, can initiate a payment or a series of payments on your behalf while subscribing to one of Carv's membership plans.

Payments are made when first subscribing to the chosen plan and automatically when the membership renews, i.e., at the start of the next membership period. The amount due is determined by the membership period chosen.

Late or missed payments

Carv, using its payment processor, will automatically attempt to charge your payment method when your membership period renews. If a successful charge to the payment method fails, for instance, due to insufficient funds or bank declines, we will perform 4 additional attempts to charge the payment method over a period of 9 days. You will be notified at each failed attempt and encouraged to update your payment method.

If all payment attempts fail, your paid membership plan will be suspended.

Payment disputes

We will not exercise our rights under "Late or missed payments" if you are disputing the applicable charges reasonably and in good faith and are cooperating diligently to resolve the dispute.


You may cancel your membership at any time. Except when part of our Returns Policy on first purchase of Carv, your membership will cancel at the end of the membership period and not renew. Previous payments made towards your membership period are not refunded.

Changes in pricing and fees

We may change the pricing and fees for the membership plans and the Carv Services at any time or impose additional fees or charges. Such changes will not be effective until the first billing cycle that occurs more than 30 days after our new pricing or fees have been announced by Carv.

Return and refund information

When outside of our Returns Policy, all membership plans are non-returnable and non-refundable.


Carv reserves the right to investigate, suspend, and terminate accounts that are circumventing or are attempting to circumvent Carv’s per-user pricing model.

Activation cards

If you purchased Carv via a retail store or where the gift option has been selected, your Carv unit will come with an activation card. This card is non-replaceable and single-use so please do not lose it. Your membership period will start from the time that you use your activation card.
