We see content at the heart of our growth and we are looking for someone who is ambitious about creative production, skilled in filming and editing to help us make the world's best skiing content.

The Role

As a Carv content creation lead, you will be responsible for filming and editing world-class skiing content. Your role is to inspire skiers with jaw-dropping footage, edit for our users in our app, marketing, and Youtube.

You will work with some of the world’s best skiers, travel around the world and be challenged to tell stories that inspire everyday skiers.

You will work with our head of marketing to turn your ideas into a reality on the snow - creating inspiring, brand, and entertainment content each winter.


Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Head of Marketing to create incredible on-snow video content

  • Operate your own (or our existing) camera equipment including gimbals, mics, and lighting equipment

    • 20mm 28-70mm, 35mm, 70-200mm

    • DJI Mavic Pro 2

    • Rode mics

  • Create inspiring stories (from concept creation to execution)

  • Work on-shoot with the world's best skiers in the world to capture them performing them at their best

  • Innovate with new filming techniques, angles and creative ideas

  • Run with the post-production process (working with contracted editors) to prepare videos for social channels, paid ads, and in-app educational content

  • Work with a young, like-minded team with a passion for snow-sports

  • Inspire millions of skiers


Requirements:

  • 3+ years video camera experience (at least DSLR level)
  • Advanced skiing skills - prior experience filming on snow is required.
  • A passion for storytelling
  • Proficiency with the following post-production programs:
    • Adobe Premiere
    • Adobe AE
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Lightroom

  • DACH region
  • USA/Canada within 2hr of a resort

Remuneration

  • Flexible depending on experience
