DACH Region Manager

DACH Region Manager

About Carv

Carv is on a mission to unlock the enjoyment of better skiing. We use AI, real-time feedback, and sensor-driven data to help skiers improve their technique like never before.

Carv will soon be launching its digital ski coach in the German language. We expect to serve more than 10,000 German‑speaking skiers — around 10 % of our global user base — and require a Launch Manager to support the wider team through the launch in the DACH region, localisation, and support customer experience in the ski season.

What You'll Do

  • This is a unique opportunity to lead a region launch and shape the entire DACH experience for Carv — with the potential to grow into a longer-term role if things go well

  • Lead the localisation and rollout of all German‑language customer touchpoints (website, in‑app UI, support centre, and selected marketing copy).

  • Manage customer‑experience (CX) operations during the season, including hiring and supervising two German‑speaking interns who will run day‑to‑day support.

Work closely with Product, Membership & Sales, and Logistics teams to deliver a seamless experience for DACH users and meet launch goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end DACH customer journey, working with the wider team to ensure the German ads, website, events, endemic media and PR is performing.

  • Own translation across Carv: Interpret intent of marketing materials and translate assets with compelling marketing copywriting (including web, ads, product, CS). Ensure accurate, technically correct skiing terminology across product, marketing channels and support materials.

  • Track and report launch KPIs (German activation, CSAT and retention) to senior leadership; recommend data‑driven improvements.

  • Represent the company at local events (eg. Alpinmesse) and own DACH-market PR

  • Support with endemic media and OOH media buying for DACH market

  • Partner with Product to test German user flows and prioritise localisation fixes.

  • Onboard and support German‑speaking customer service interns (starting in November).

What We're Looking For

  • A passionate skier, beginner skiers welcome

  • Native or C2 fluency in German and English; strong command of skiing terminology in German.

  • Proven record in marketing (copywriting, creative) or CX, preferably in consumer tech or sports

  • Ability to manage early‑career team members

  • Comfortable using data and user feedback to drive decisions; familiarity with AI support tools is advantageous

Excited about this role but don’t tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you! At Carv, we welcome diverse experiences and can shape roles for awesome people!
