The Role
As a Carv editor, you will be working with our filmers and Creative Director to make our stories live. Your role is to inspire skiers to have more fun, improve their technique and get the most out of every day on snow.
You will get to work on a range of pieces - inspiring shorts for social, educational content for the app and youtube, and creative story-telling edits that make our brand come alive.
In this role you will be able to seamlessly integrate yourself into every step of our creative process, from ideation to execution, and be able to collaborate and learn from our talented team of in-house designers, copywriters, social media managers and brand manager.
We're also looking for someone who is ready to pitch ideas and independently drive their own projects forward - keeping us moving towards the next level of ski content.
We are hiring full time but are also open to contracting arrangements for this role
Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Creative Director, filmer and designer to shape storyboards
Make the storyboard come alive with your creative execution
Innovate with new editing techniques, graphics and creative ideas
Optimise your outputs for social channels, paid ads, and in-app educational content
Pitch content ideas and hop onto social trends that you can confidently bring to life.
Use organic and paid content performance metrics reported by stakeholders to improve and optimise creatives.
Develop motion graphics to enhance the message (by yourself or with a designer)
Generate a consistent and high quality output (including colour, sound design)
Work with a young, like-minded team with a passion for snow-sports
Inspire millions of skiers
Requirements:
- 3+ years editing experience
- Passion for skiing content
- Understanding of the fundamentals of ski technique
- Proficiency with the following post-production programs:
- Adobe Premiere
- Adobe AE (intermediate level required at least)
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Lightroom
The Nice-to-Haves:
- Passion for marketing, social and making stories come alive in different channels

Could be based in any of the below:
(Our main offices are London and Innsbruck, but we have a flexible working policy)
