The Role

As the VP of Operations, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and profitability by leading and overseeing all operational aspects of the business. You will work closely with the CEO to identify and pursue long-term opportunities and risks for the business, and you will be responsible for managing the production, supply chain, customer success, and financial planning and analysis functions.

About you

We are seeking a seasoned and well-rounded VP of Operations to join our growing team. As a leader, you are passionate about driving business growth and creating a customer-first culture. You have start-up experience at the leadership team level, preferably during the Series B to IPO phase, and understand the scrappy and high-growth attitude that is essential for a young company. We will also consider candidates with a strong corporate track record, who can adapt to the fast-paced start-up environment.

In this role, you will be managing three senior managers who are responsible for their own teams: Customer Success (team of 15), Finance (team of 2), and Logistics (team of 3). You have strong leadership skills, the ability to define clear targets, and the motivation and management skills to lead your team to achieve those goals. We expect to grow the team 25-75% year-on-year, so experience hiring and retaining high-performing teams is important.

You should have a strong financial background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
