The following information refers to Carv 1. Check out our groundbreaking new sensor, Carv 2 here.

When using Carv with plug boots we recommend a slightly altered installation method in order to reduce the movement of the Carv inserts when the liner is removed.

If you can remove your boot board without unscrewing a bolt, please remove this. Next, attach a red sticky tab to the bottom side of the heel of your insert. Then use duct tape to securely attach your Carv insert to the board. You should then tape the cable securely up the side of your boot to ensure it does not snag when you remove and reinsert your liner. See the image below for guidance.

If you cannot remove your boot board without unscrewing a bolt, first attach a red sticky tab to the bottom side of the heel of your insert. Ensure that the insert is centred in the boot and then apply black cable secure tape across the insert and onto the sides of the boots. You should then tape the cable securely up the length of your boots to ensure it does not snag when you remove and reinsert your liner. See the image below for guidance.
