We’re extremely honoured to win a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade and be recognised alongside the very best in British business. It is a brilliant recognition of how Carv’s unique blend of consumer sensor-based technology, artificial intelligence and sports science is defining the category in digital sports coaching.

We are very grateful to our incredible team, who have pushed conventional limits across a range of technologies to make Carv possible, as well as our community who have supported our mission to improve participation in and enjoyment of sports.

What are the Queen's Awards?

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are widely regarded as the most prestigious business awards in the UK. Previous winners include Jaguar Land Rover, Fever-Tree, and Airbus.

These awards are widely considered the highest accolade to be bestowed upon a UK business, celebrating the British companies that have showed outstanding achievement in trade, innovation, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

From Humble Beginnings...

It wasn't all that long ago that 'The Carv Team' consisted of 3 skiers determined to push the world of ski instruction into the 21st Century...

Like so many skiers, we had stopped getting lessons and hit a plateau with our skiing. We could keep up with our friends, but that rush of progression just wasn't coming anymore. So we focused on fixing that. We know that the better you are, the more fun you'll have skiing and the more you can get from the mountains that we all love.

From developing our first concept right through to the fast growth we've started to experience, we've been humbled by the backing of our skiers and supporters. Our team has grown dramatically, our product has improved each season, and more of our amazing customers have joined our mission to create the world's most powerful ski coaching tool.

But we're only just getting started...

We've come a long way from hand-soldering and "Prototype 24"

What's Next for Carv?

Creating a highly accurate pressure and motion sensor that works well in a sub-zero, icy, and high-impact environment isn't without its challenges!

However, our fast-growing team is totally driven to improve your Carv experience every season, and we're honoured to receive this prestigious recognition of that continued effort.

Check out our Season in Review to see how Carv helped skiers to break through plateaus in their skiing even in a winter overshadowed by a global pandemic.

We remain committed to our objective to build the world's best ski school, and we're excited to push Carv to the next level.

See you on the slopes next season!
