1. Carv Captures your skiing data
The Carv device captures precise pressure and motion data as you ski. It is then sent to your phone using bluetooth.
Your ski data is then compared against professional benchmarks (Level 3/4 ski instructors) to assess your technique.
2. Get feedback on your technique
This data is then translated into 13 powerful metrics that fit into 4 key categories:
- Balance (forward/back lean)
- Edging (edge angle, similarity and more)
- Rotation (rotary smoothness and similarity)
- Pressure (outside/inside ski, smoothness and more).
So you'll be able to analyse your technique and find out where you need to focus next.
3. Improve in days not months
You'll get personalised tips, real-time coaching and drills, developed with the best skiers and instructors like 2x Olympic Gold Medalist Ted Ligety.
The fast feedback loop from objective data, to coaching and back means you'll ski more efficiently and for longer, have better control and confidence, take on more challenging terrain and push your limits.

There are three modes you can choose from when skiing with Carv:
Free ski mode - This mode tracks your skiing and analyses your overall technique to give you a Ski:IQ™, with audio feedback and tips once you get on a lift.
Training mode - There are 4 drills, with 20 levels to complete for each, with real time feedback delivered through your headphones.
Monitor mode - Hear a live direct feed for a specific metric on every turn. These metrics as some of the most important for achieving a high Ski:IQ™.
We're sorry if Carv has not worked out for you for any reason. We offer hassle free returns within 100 days of delivery of your Carv unit. Once we have received your return, we will process your refund including any membership fees that were paid upfront.
Should you wish to request a return or exchange, you are able to do so using this link.You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. We request that your Carv is returned in the original packaging if possible.
Once your return is received we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. It may take up to 14 days to receive the confirmation email and to see the funds in your account.
All Carv orders can be tracked to ensure safe delivery and tracking information is shared via email at the point of shipment.

Carv does not require an internet connection to record runs - you can still measure your Ski IQ, get live tips, and do much more.
Internet is required to connect to the server so that your runs are saved and visible from your activity page . By going to “Settings” > “Data Syncing”, you can choose whether you want your activity data to be synced using mobile data or only when connected to Wifi.
